1. Practical / Household Items.
It’s not easy turning an apartment/dorm into a home. But putting a few personal touches on your place gets you on track. I am a huge fan of the cardboard deer head. This is something I am hoping to get this year.
2. Trips.
The best gift you can give someone is an experience. I read a recent study that found, the most memorable gifts people were given involved an experience. You don’t need to spend a ton of money and backpack across Europe(although that woujld be great.) You could always go on a weekend road trip or camp at the beach for a few days. An memorable experience doesn’t need to cost a lot.
3. Movies.
I don’t think there is anything college students do more than watch movies. A Roku player is a great way to watch movie instantly for hours on end.
4. Restaurant Gift Cards
Everyone hates to cook at some time during the week. This is also a great (and cheap) way to take that special someone on a date.
